It’s nearly impossible to find a bumper trim for a c model , any ideas what I can use instead ?

Was a suggestion someone showed Jim. It was a double l
Ayered rubber bungie cord.
You could order a black heritage heat it up to mold it around the bottom and cut off excess.
Maybe a eureka/Sanitaire belt.
Idk there's a few ideas for you.

David,

Your polishing job looks amazing much better then new amazing work indeed. Pictured is my Kenmore Imperial with the cargo strap bumper I used. I have also used a auto belt on the Kenmore Automatic until I found original parts for her.

David,

I have a new bumper trim painted black or a few original red trim bumpers that are a little longer that you could paint black. If you give me your address in a privet message, I'd be more than happy to send one your way, or you could use what Les suggested link below.

Why would you paint red ones? Those are hard to come by. If a tan one fits, I'd rather paint one of those since you can still get them new.

Your right but the new tan trim I noticed are a little shorter than the older red ones and the red might fit better and be easier to work with on the older C style nozzle. I agree if the tan ones will work that would be a better way to go. I have never replaced the trim on a C style nozzle before, so I'm just trying to give some options. I also did not find the new ones on the Kirby needs website although I'm sure there might be other places to find them.
