Using the Rainbow today to dry vacuum, shampoo carpets and then wet mop the laminate floors.
I enjoy the mop attachment as it uses so little cleaning solution and both the handle and the FLIP-OVER mop/squeegee head are designed to get under and into small places and under the counters.

I do the mopping first and then add water to the basin to do the dry vacuuming. You can see in the basin how little cleaning solution was needed and how dirty the water when picked up and dried by the Rainbow.

I use this set up to clean the screened porch, garage floor and the laminates in the house.

Never any trace of odor from my 12 year old Rainbow. Only one small latch repair on the hose after all these years

Neat  set  up does  it spray water out   then suck it  up ??? or is  it a  pull level to release  the solution?

It power sprays as you hold the hand trigger down. Both the main tube and the sponge/squeegee rotate. You control the flow and amount of cleaning solution. You can do a small area in nothing flat and never touch or mess with any dirty water or solution. 2 fillings of the solution tank will fill your Rainbow basin , so you always know where you are as far a wet pickup. I can do my 10x12 cement patio floor and need to only dump the Rainbow water basin ONE time at the end. I have had to replace the sponge side over the years when used on the rough cement surface but they are easy and inexpensive to replace as they just snap in place. As you are cleaning, you also clean the inside of your Rainbow hose of dirt and germs as a added bonus.

I failed to answer your question. It uses the air flow and suction of the Rainbow to dry the floor with just one swipe of the squeegee side. The dirty water is sucked into the Rainbow basin. With this operation, you start with a EMPTY water basin. It also comes with a second head that swivels and has a stiff brush side for stubborn or uneven floors.
I START with this to clean the laminate floors. When done, all I have to do is add some water to the water basin to do the regular dry vacuuming. Your electric wands work for the Rainjet and your regular power nozzle. There is nothing to set up. Just fill your solution tank, snap into place and you are ready to go. When done, rinse out your solution tank and snap your top wand section to your power nozzle for dry cleaning. .
