I was given an interesting machine this morning. A Firestone It will require some work but is in fairly good shape.

I was wondering if anyone has any information about this one or what parts went with it? I'm pretty certain it was made by Douglas and I'm sure I've seen it under the Kenmore name before as well. But, now that I am trying to find it, I can't find a picture of it.

If I remember correctly it had a pretty basic plastic attachment set (at least in the Kenmore iteration).

I remember seeing an ad for this vacuum online but I can't find it in my files. I think this was made by the same Firestorne company that made car tires if I remember right?

Firestone

As above it was made by Douglas for Firestone and sold by Sears as their low price canister. The hose end pushed against a spring and rotated to lock in slots at intake.
