I failed to mention in my earlier post that I had spoken to a representative at Tristar USA a couple of years back. She said that all machines built after 2020 did have brushless motors. I will continue to investigate and get a second inspection/opinion from a second vac store owner that I know. I do confess that I am not a repair man and am not speaking as an expert; but I do want to know for sure. Thanks so much for your response!!I will post any new info that I get.
