I had been wanting one for a while and noticed a modified unit. May have been a Vac shop modification or an owner, but if had a PN plug receptacle mounted to the exterior to the left of cord hook/retainer. I did not really like it because the plug from the hose, was just sticking out ready to fall out. Using a Dremel I replaced it with a turquoise Electrolux version because the plug was snugger.

Today I finally took it for a spin only to discover the Eureka made PN did not pick very well. I'm not sure why. I may just switch to a Tristar PN for the time being.

I will take a picture of the replacement cord receptacle.
