I purchased an Aerus Lux upright but it is clogged. This one has the attached hose and the dirt has to travel through it. The hose is clear as when I pull the hose out as if I’m going to use it the vac works fine…as soon as I reinsert the hose it is clogged. I shined a flashlight down the hole where the hose gets inserted and there is a visible clog. It’s in that section alongside the motor. I tried sticking a long stick down in there to back push the clog out but no luck. Something is lodged in there pretty good. Thinking I will need to disassemble. Any help on doing that or other unclogging ideas would be great!

Jon

The hose on the exhaust and blow it out.
You could spray it out and wait for everything to completely dry.
You can blow out with an Air compressor.
There's a few options

Clog

When you can see the clog just cut and stretch a wire coat hanger and bend the end in a fish hook shape.Use this and suction from a credit tool to pull clog out.You may find a sock or parts of a Christmas 🎄 but use caution an you may find needle or glass.
