Someone gave me this Kirby 519. I don't know where it originally came from. Wrong belt lifter. I love it. We rebuilt it and it runs smooth and nice on its new bearings.

The gorgeous Kirby 562. Stunning. She was given to me by a good friend, and fellow Kirby collector from Ohio.

This is a Kirby Dual 80 moments after unboxing. A customer who was the original owner sent it back for it's factory rebuild and let me open the box. Black bag and cord, but it runs like brand new and my customer is delighted I reminded her she had the right to have it rebuilt (I think it was fifty dollars).

Dual 80 rebuild

It's beautiful like all the others. I thought I heard that Kirby was using tan trim now on all the rebuilds and was advised to retain all the original colored pieces before sending a unit in for overhaul. My humble opinion, the Dual 80 and HeritageII are two of the best Kirby's around.

Two of my favorite machines from my collection at home. It will be so nice to share with everyone, the third weekend in September at the Vacuum Collectors Convention at the Vacuum Museum in Rolla, MO. The theme this year is straight suction stick vacs. A $50 gift certificate to the winner of the contest.

Tom,

Those were beautiful!

But the rarest of all the gold-plated ones was perhaps the Kirby Dual Sanitronic 50 that Phyllis Diller owned.

Thank you Les. so many people think I am stuck on rainbow, Kirby or Electrolux, or other brands. I like them all. No one could say I am “only“ about one brand. The brand makes absolutely no difference. I learned that a long time ago. Especially during pride month, I feel it’s very important to celebrate the diversity of our vacuum cleaners as well. I love them all, and they all love me.
