Well, when I lived in Tel Aviv in the late 1990’s, I used to love checking out all the European vacuum cleaners being sold in Israel’s appliance stores. It was a real eye opener for me to learn all about Electrolux and AEG and Philips and Rowenta and even the different Candy Hoover company. Along with these brands, many stores had extensive selections of all the new Dyson uprights and cylinder vacs…their yellow and silver colour schemes really stood out in the displays.
This was just at the start of the internet and back in Canada a few years later, I used the internet to keep up with which vacs were being sold in Israel. It was at that time that I discovered the Dyson Israel website. The only proof I currently have of the exact model DC07 being sold in Israel, is a used one being sold on a eBay-like website…I can provide a link to this webpage if you want proof. |

I've also noticed that in Australia some of the DC07s says Radix Cyclone on them but in the UK and USA it says Root cyclone on them |

Hi Ryan,
It would be interesting to find a web page that shows the progressive expansion of Dyson sales all over the world. That would give you a precise list of all the countries in which a person could buy a DC07….whenever it made it’s debut. If the DC07 arrived on the scene in 2003, then it’s pretty much a certainty that it was available in every country in which Dyson had a sales office by that year. Currently, the Dyson website says their products are available in over 60 countries, but in 2003 it probably was less than half that number of countries. Still, it may be a distinct possibility that the DC07 was available in 2003 in about a dozen countries. |

Yes…because electrical plugs for the UK are unique to that country, I am sure Dyson’s accounting department had to figure out what was the most economical way to sell their vacuums in other countries. The 120-volt versions for sale in the large North American and Japanese markets all had the appropriate plugs installed by the factory. The 220-volt vacs for other countries around the world either came with the correct plug already installed or the box included adapters for the specific country it was sold in. It probably depended on the size of each market - the smaller markets had Dysons sold with plug adapters in the box.
The one you see for Spain might be owned by a British person who moved to Spain with his/her appliances. |

Hi Ryan,
I think we can safely assume that wherever we found DC07s, we would also find DC14s, because Dyson probably continued to sell their vacuums in the same countries as they continued to design new models. I doubt that they closed any sales offices around the world between the two models. If I find a webpage that lists these countries, I’ll post it here for you. |

To give you an idea which countries sell Dyson now, go to the link below. It’s their “careers at Dyson” webpage, but it shows where the products are now sold. The North American button gives you the dates they opened offices in Chicago and Toronto.
