For a number of year I hemmed and hawed about buying the pricey 4 piece Miele MicroSet attachments for vacuuming in small, precise places, like on computer equipment. I already pride myself on having the C3 Alize (beige) with both all electric and non electric hoses and attachments. This 4 piece microset was the last outstanding item… until tomorrow, when my order arrives. Common sense would say get the generic version, but, oh well. Anybody have experience with this micro-set? I’ve only seen reviews of the generic version, and seems to work as intended. I’m expecting the Miele version to be outstanding, for what it is.

My micro-set has arrived. About as expected. Nice storage case. It is good my C3 has the Auto speed function as there is a step-down in hose diameter, so auto-adjust seems to regulate towards half-speed. Once I started to use at my desk I located lots of nooks and crannies across my computer and printer systems and other desk tools (hole punch, for instance) that had accumulated dust that this attachment set could now easily access and clean. Was it worth $75? Likely not, but I believe I now have every available C3 attachment for electric and non-electric hoses so spend was rewarding in that way, filling out the collectibles... except I only have the Miele SEB 236 power head with LED lighting... no other power heads. I also like that the micro-hose adds about 3 feet to the existing non-powered hose, so leaving C3 on floor and vacuuming across desk space works well.
