Got for $8 and all it needed was a new belt and maybe a bag change soon. Has some wear you can see but should be able to get that fixed. But it still works perfectly fine and sounds good.

Any time you find a good, quality machine from back in the day for less than the price of a fast food value meal, you've gotten a bargain. That one was made back when a Hoover was a HOOVER. There's very little on the market these days that even compares, although I do find it interesting that as a 'deluxe' model, it doesn't have a headlight. Even so, I wouldn't have passed it up, either.
