Health-Mor uprights were first made by Scott & Fetzer in 1928 and 1929. By 1930, Health-Mor contracted with Royal to make the machine for them. You can tell the difference by the switch.

Here are photos of my restored Health Mor Sanitation System Vacuum. The only thing it needs for its restoration to be complete is a factory original Health Mor bag and the handle top with the wooden handle grip. From Liam |

I compared pics and I have something almost identical to the original grip I would sell. I got it off an old Birtman Energex but they look almost exactly the same. Below is the pic of the original grip, and an Energex grip. Almost identical.

Congrats on your graduation from high school and getting the Health-Mor as a gift! As for the bag, I would recommend getting a "generic" bag from Vac Parts Plus or Steel City, dying it blue (they are usually grey), and having the logo screen printed on it. I would not dye the bag that's on it now, as it is a nice original Royal bag which is also hard to find, but not as hard to find as the Health-Mor.
Here are a couple pics of my Health-Mor. The previous owner got the grey generic bag like I mentioned, and had the logo embroidered on by a seamstress. Unfortunately, he didn't dye the bag before he had it done, but I'm happy with it as is. I do need to polish it sometime soon. Jeff |

Here's a good shot of the logo from the small bag with the Health-Mor. I bet Michael Balda would be able to silk screen that logo for you.

Is Michael Balda a member on Vacuumland? If not, then can someone please tell me how to get in contact with him, like getting his email? From Liam |

Very nice manual.
I don't think anybody has a spare Health Mor bag in any condition. You might get lucky on eBay at some point, I know someone parted one out on there about a year ago. However if your Electro Hygiene you mentioned a few threads ago needs a bag, I do have a really nice blue spare shake out Electro Hygiene bag I would sell. |

It's doubtful if anyone here has an extra Health-Mor bag. I would recommend checking ebay from time to time and maybe one might turn up. Most importantly, be patient! There have been times that I've waited a couple years to find something I'm looking for. Being anxious won't get you what you need any sooner.
I also agree that's a nice manual indeed! However, page 8 is missing, page 3 & 4 are out of order, and the page with the picture of the building that says "Foreword" looks like it is also out of order. But thank you for sharing it with us. Jeff |

I think but don't know for sure that someone here was also able to make replicas of factory original Kirby bags and even old shake out Hoover coffee can bags, like for a model, 541, 700, etc. |

Its been quite awhile since I've heard from either of those members.
My EH bag looks like this, but mine has more of a vibrant logo on it.

That picture looks a lot like my oldest Electro-Hygiene 285. Does the bag you have look more like the one on my 2-230 pictured here?
