Health-Mor uprights were first made by Scott & Fetzer in 1928 and 1929. By 1930, Health-Mor contracted with Royal to make the machine for them. You can tell the difference by the switch.

I compared pics and I have something almost identical to the original grip I would sell. I got it off an old Birtman Energex but they look almost exactly the same. Below is the pic of the original grip, and an Energex grip. Almost identical.

Liam,
Congrats on your graduation from high school and getting the Health-Mor as a gift! As for the bag, I would recommend getting a "generic" bag from Vac Parts Plus or Steel City, dying it blue (they are usually grey), and having the logo screen printed on it. I would not dye the bag that's on it now, as it is a nice original Royal bag which is also hard to find, but not as hard to find as the Health-Mor.
Here are a couple pics of my Health-Mor. The previous owner got the grey generic bag like I mentioned, and had the logo embroidered on by a seamstress. Unfortunately, he didn't dye the bag before he had it done, but I'm happy with it as is. I do need to polish it sometime soon. Jeff | ||

Here's a good shot of the logo from the small bag with the Health-Mor. I bet Michael Balda would be able to silk screen that logo for you.
