I was not originally going to restore this machine, but ended up with some free time to do so this past week.
Lots of rust on this one! Nearly every screw head needed to be sanded and shined.
Enjoy :)

What a wonderful looking vac. You have done it again, love your work. Thanks for posting. I always enjoy seeing your before and after pictures. Will look forward to seeing the video. Someday I will find one for my collection. I was wondering where did you find the beautiful bag?

Great Job, as always. I love mine. Birtman did a beautiful job making those motors.

Thanks all!

That was a fun and time consuming restore! Loved it.

I have another one coming up in a few weeks. Looks like it is a few years newer...but all the gold and black detailing is too cool! You can see it in the hood, bumper, and bag. Can't wait to get started when the time opens back up!

Jim - I actually made this bag! This machine arrived to me with a Hamilton Beach bag installed! Random for sure...probably what a vacuum shop had on hand that would fit the wide bag ring for this model.

Link attached is for the Kenmore!

Photo attached will be the next restore :)

You are a man of many talents, the bag you made is amazing well done. I'm sure you will make the Kenmore Automatic look amazing as well. They will make a great pair. I'll be watching.

Siblings should stick together

I agree with VacMadMan above; it would be nice if these two Kenmores remain a pair.
