I saw this listing on Ebay and have always been curious....why did Eureka make the hose end without a curve or without the top wand being curved? How are you supposed to vacuum the floor or carpet with a straight hose end?

I’ve always wondered about this too. I’ve only seen this short stubby handle on deep discount budget Princess models and on Eureka’s compact tub vac. And I can’t believe that there was that big a savings in cost not to include a regular hose with a regular handle on the end. I mean just having the extra administrative and production and assembly line work to have a separate style of hose would surely cancel any savings?
It really is a mystery to me…. maybe a curved handle could be an optional attachment ordered after you got the cleaner? |
