Hivemind, were these good vacuums? Anyone know of the History of being a Bernina product?

I had one once, and may have sold it after cleaning it up. Meaning, I never vacuumed with it to know about performance.

I find them fascinating and hope to find another.

They were the exact same machine normally branded as Evolution. That's why people refer to them as Bernina/Evolution since it's a difference of name. If you look closely at a Bernina, it says, "Made For", on the front bag door.

I had one of the bernina badged 6700s way back when and currently have a slightly newer model 6709Z which was a candidate for my daily driver before I settled on the proteam 1500xp. They're a simple machine which works well

I like these machines, I have the Cirrus CR89 which in my opinion is better than the Evolution versions. But my all time favorite would be this Morse branded 6500 model that I've been looking for years now.
