I wish I had taken a before picture (the seller may have one). It looked like a building had fallen on it when I got it. I took it to Bremerton Office Machines who redid the motor, sandblasted and painted it, and had new decals made by a company in the Netherlands. www.etsy.com/shop/Typewri... This shop just needs a picture of the existing decal with a ruler for scale--they work wonders.

I’m pretty sure that the bag pictured is not original and is a replacement. Those bags with the plastic Eureka label came much later than this vacuum. The motor base is from the late 1960’s because it has no vents and a rocker toe switch. The bag shown would have come with a 1970’s upright with vents and a push button toe switch.

It looks like the 238B still had a hose port
It looks like the 238B had the hose port. This is like the bag that my Eureka 238D had when I bought it...which was beyond restoration.
