That turned out awesome! Nice work. These really are beautiful machines. I love the details on the hood and bag.

Looks good! I like how the headlight looks on these models. It has a nice soft glow to it. I have a 300 with a headlight too.

Very nice vacuum.
What year was this model made. I'm far from a kirby expert but it looks before 1950s bit not positive.

NICE!!And it has a headlight that shines on the area you are vacuuming! Also quieter than most new vacuums.Too bad these are no longer made!

Hoover Model 800 came out in the 1930's I believe. And the 700 was 1920's.

According to the service manual page posted on VL thread 13491 Hoover USA's model 700 was produced 1926-29, and its model 800 1933-35.

Thanks to former contributor, vac_whisperer, who was kind enough to post it for our reference.

Thanks Paul for forwarding that info. I never knew the exact date range. Crazy they only sold them for a couple years each. These days you see the same vacuum model sold for a lot longer than that.

Where to purchase belt

Hi! I have the same exact model, but I can not find a belt for it. I am new to this hobby, and could use some help. If anyone has any advice, that would be great. Thanks!
