Heres one for the eureka fans... an oddball I found. Helping my friend clean out his shop, he came across this and offered it to me. I ended up with it, its a great machine! Functions fine. I can't remember what made this "Limited Edition" but if you big brains on eurekas know, I would like to know.
Here's a video of it running, yes this is my video. vid link:

That is soooo cool! Never saw a Eureka like that! Indeed probably a JC Penney exclusive.
It’s got elements of a really low budget Eureka (white cord, step-on foot switch, plastic handle) combined with elements of a much more high end deluxe Eureka (Precision-style motor hood, Rugulator instead of DialaNap, headlight, full height bumper, fancy dust bag pattern). How many amps is the motor? And is there a regular Disturbulator brush roll under the hood? Or a Vibra-Groomer? |

Neglected to mention that the ad is from Target. |

According to the 1991 Eureka catalog page that someone posted on another thread the model 1925 has a Disturbulator brush roll. |

the J.C. Penny model had a half amp,(5.5), larger motor than others I've seen. New for '92? In any case that cleaner looks to be in very nice condition, a definite keeper. The wrap around headlight is a deluxe feature for sure. |

Hi Paul, that Eureka you found on Chicago Craigslist is a 1935A model. It's a 3 not a 2. Looks like the serial starts with "89", 1989.
