I was looking around on eBay Canada and came across a very old vacuum motor, if your are missing or restoring an old vacuum take a look, the motor looks like it’s from the 1920’s.
Just type in Antique Continental Electric company, and you shall find it. Hope this helps someone with their vacuum restoration. No sure which vacuum this motor goes to ? If anyone could shed light on what model this would fit? That would be great to share. He isn’t asking very much for it. |

Thanks for posting, I’m considering buying for the wheel and potentially other extra parts for the Royal I’m restoring. Although I think this one is a little bit later than mine. |

Continental Electric Co. was some sort of private label brand for the Canadian market. Pretty rare vacuums. That would be not something to tear up.
There's another CEC vacuum on eBay but the shipping is stupidly high. This definitely was a diverse vacuum cleaner brand but there's next to no information online about them. A collector from Canada that has seen them in person likely would probably know more. If it is actually a rebadged Royal than it could perhaps be fixed/rebuilt with Royal parts and they would fit. |
