Hi, mine finally arrived. complete with screwdriver pry marks, busted front pigtail cord clip, hint of carpet powder near bag opening lip, 1 of three lower shell screws missing/complete with busted hole stem and broken cord reel.
I actually got the cord reel working a bit, but man, this design and construction is very flimsy.
This is the only vacuum I know of that have a horizontal cord reel. There was a bit of folded plastic shoved under the cord reel as a spacer, I guess to make it spin better.
I will have another try later this week.

I believe Italian version of the compact/tristar. It looks like a patriot from the looks of it. The fact it has a cord reel is a plus considering compacts have nothing.

Question to - European Members - or US/Canadian members
The back exhaust door appears to be missing something that engages a lid hook to keep the door shut when the vacuum is running.
I think it is held down by one of the existing screws. It may be metal.
If you have one of these vacuums, would you post a picture of the clip or retainer so I can make a replacement? I can barely see from a picture I found on the internet.
Thank you very much.

I managed to restore the cord reel to working order. Would you believe it was a matter of putting in some spacers under each mounting point. This was important to create the clearance for the cord reel release button to work properly.
Now if I can only figure out how the exhaust door is secured so it does not pop open when the machine is on.
