Any ideas? It looks like this unit had the 2 wire receptacle added. Now I just want to replace it with a 3 wire receptacle. Any help? | ||

If
You split the 3 sections of the pigtail. Hard wire black to black white to whit and the ground either attach a small piece of copper ot brass taken from a junk cord . Attach the prong with a small screw and install the ground wire on top of the copper but below the screw head. This will ground out the wire exactly what you need yo do and make sure you tape it or heat shrink it well.
