I vaguely remember seeing handle brace kits for Dial A Matic handles on eBay a few years back. Just curious if anyone has a picture of one attached to a machine. Were they genuine or an aftermarket part? | ||

D-A-M Cracks at upper housing were a problem if held or carried improperly.The kits I've seen were an after market folded metal cap screwed at bottom of handle. | ||

Here's an 1149 with the brace. Seems odd so soon after that model was built.
