Motor just went south on my floor model V13C10 I'd like to repair it. I'm interested in a motor or a complete model even if it's not in real good condition. My model is green. |

Yes, always verify grease, bearings, bushings, oil, first. Then if the damage goes further than that, go from there. With over 100 vacuums, I've never come across a totally blown motor yet, so I wouldn't say it's a common issue. I've come across seized, rusty, skunky, bad manufacturing, but not seen completely exploded yet.
