Good assortment of some of the more popular vintage vacs! What are their model numbers? The 89 could be either a ZB89 or 89E; the Discovery II had 3 successive model numbers as upgrades were made, and I think Compacts model numbers were made in more than one color.

Sweet collection & awesome prices! If you want parts for the ZB89 & possibly others check out Canadian collector Doug Smith's website that also has his contact information: smithcollection.altervista.org

Forgot to mention that the manufacturer's ratings stamp on the DII is on the hood and can be viewed when the handle is lowered to the ground.

I'd be careful about those vintage vacs, because they might've been used to pick up asbestos, or might contain asbestos it the machines. I'm not entirely sure if's the case, but it might be a possibility.

I'd still recommend blowing them out with compressed air on a windy day, preferably when wearing a respirator, then showering afterwards.

I haven’t ever encountered asbestos in any my older machines but the oldest machine I have is late 60’s Early 70’s so that may be a factor.

Ok, do you blow them out with compressed air? and do you do it outside on a windy day while wearing a mask?

Well that's a relief, and sorry about being pushy about the asbestos thing. I was just worried that you were at risk for being exposed to asbestos. I've also got anxiety issues, so that's mainly why I was worried. Anyways, enjoy your new vacs!
