One of my favorite Christmas-themed Hollywood movies is Frank Capra's IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. As many times as I've watched it over the years little Tommy Bailey's toy caught my attention this year for the first time. It's in the scene when George returns home after learning that his Savings & Loan is short $8000. I wonder if it was created in the prop's department as I couldn't locate an online replica or ad, and it resembles both a vacuum cleaner and a lawn mower.

P.S. Tommy had dropped the handle in fright as his dad lost his temper.

So I'm not the only one that saw this!! Never seen the toy before but there was a real one, which was a carpet sweeper with a belt driven fan and fan case bolted on top, with a bag on the back.
