I have too many vacuums again so i've been working to reduce the numbers, this one's going up for sale. I've posted it to offerup to save on shipping costs.

Wasn't this Ironman vacuum to replace the Buster B vacuum?---The canister vacuum that was "free"? when you bought an Oreck upright.

Weird

Oreck regular uprights iirc don't have a motor bigger than 4.5 amps. I know theres a few heavier orecks that have bigger motors. This has 7.5 amp motor.
I think this replaced the white/black models that I owned for 10 years and was strictly a stair vacuum.

Not really an Oreck....

This was made for Oreck by Douglas, which also made the Powerbrush handvac for Oreck. There were 2 versions - the IM88 which was straight suction and the IM98 which had a powernozzle. Never intended as a replacement for the Buster B. Much better canister than the DutchTech though.

Actually Douglas is a division of Scott & Fetzer who also owned Kirby at the time so technically these were actually Kirby vacuums, just rebranded as Oreck.
