Windtunnel's are getting to be worse than Kirbys at my house, I have far to many of them and for the most part they are fairly similar. Anyways, cruised though Goodwill and seen a Windtunnel that I had never seen before, the Windtunnel Lite. I only seen one mention of it on here, so I thought it might be worth picking up. Appears to be a clone of the Tempo except badged as a Windtunnel. Haven't cleaned it up and used it yet, but here it is someone wiped down at least.

My neighbor has one, but in the same red color as a mach 2.1. In fact I think the only difference between the two is the 2.1 was earlier so it had earlier graphics.

You have a collection of windtunnels? My all-time favorite vacuums. Do you by any chance have the rare Windtunnel Widepath LS?

Other than the Windtunnel Lite they are all fairly common models. Just a lot of them have piled up over the years. I don’t know if the Z400 counts as a Windtunnel, but they are unusual so here it is. I also have a Z700, a Green Dual V, and another Blue self propelled Windtunnel, I believe it is the Anniversary model.

Hold onto the Z and the V2s!!!! From what I keep hearing the V2s are getting harder to find!

"Windtunnel" actually is not a model name - it's just a patent name on the technology. Any Hoover could be a Windtunnel. I think more as time went on they stopped being exclusively called "Windtunnels" and it started being relegated to just a marketing tagline and buzzword.

The V2's are definitely as next to impossible to find as the Z-series. That goofy quad-brushroll helix system and it's lovely little plastic cogwheel gearing ensured they died as rapidly and obtusely as possible.

I love the red color on it the best. I have one in black that I got from Goodwill on eBay, I have no idea how it survived as long as it did - it was owned by a careless owner. One of the airstreams is totally clogged solid, the other is very dirty, and it's got tons of hair wrap and threads. It's a mess.
