Nice collection! Be careful, before you know it they will be coming out of your ears! The biggest lie I tell myself is, of course thereís room for one more! Anyways, thatís an unusual Bissell in picture two, could you share some more about it?

Cameron- That green Bissell in the 2nd picture, is a 1995 Bissell Plus 3553. This vacuum has a automatic height adjustment and it's a lift off. The brush roll even turns off when the bag gets full. This machine is pretty rare and I love it.

Wow only 5 months into the year and you found all these? That's crazy! Nice variety too!

Thanks, most of the vacuum cleaners I get are from the thrift store and some are from the flea market. In the 3rd picture, I'm still trying to wrap my head around my Windsor Versamatic Plus wide area vacuum and why did I bought it for $170?

It looks like it's in great condition, $170 is not a bad price for that. They regularly are sold on janitorial sites for about $800+. Or you might find one on a government auction site run into the ground and in pieces for $8. It's all relative.

I got a Lindhaus just recently on eBay for $85. I considered that a good deal. Windsor I believe is related to SEBO in some way, so it's technically a SEBO underneath.

Nice, Nice.

You've got a decent variety of machines there. It looks like you could use some canisters though. Perhaps a water filtration machine or two

That's a nice collection. We'll be saving a seat for you at the VA (Vacuholics Anonymous) meeting ;)

Nice start to your collection. I'm drawn to both modern as well as vintage cleaners. I like chrome and polished aluminum on my sweepers.

Your Excaliber Eureka upright is fairly rare as is your Bissell Lift off from the 1990's. My suggestion is to actually use them all, and keep the ones that really impress you.

Whats the VA?

Scott, there is no VA,what Human meant is that procuring vacuum cleaners or any kind of collecting can get more or less out of hand if you aren't careful. It can become addicting like alcohol, which there is AA among others, and if there really was a Vacuumaholics Anonymous I would probably be attending weekly meetings, and probably a few other collectors as well!

If I gave in to temptation I would no doubt have over 200 vacuums, but I don't have the space, so I'm holding the line to 51 machines, and that's too many. You find yourself becoming pickier and pickier as space for storage starts shrinking.

It's a fun hobby and there's a lot of support here and elsewhere and you can learn a lot. Hope you are enjoying the journey! Billy
