I was recently given the original model LX box as well as the carton containing the bags and filters, a brand-new airtight hose and all the tools for the model LX. The man who gave all this to me was the son of an Electrolux salesman who was cleaning out daddy's house.

The hammertone blue model E from the side as well as underneath. No scratches. This machine was also given to me by the same man who gave me the model LX box and accessories.

The first Automatic Control is on my model LX. You pull to turn the knob and it clicks back into another position.

Nice. It appears that your model AE is a slightly brighter shade of blue than your E, same as my two.

When I was a boy the altar guild at my former church had a model AE Electrolux to clean the sanctuary. I got to use it several times & I marveled at the way it lifted the rug's edge off the floor. A splendid machine to be sure. |

Have the bag ejector equipment still in it? How about the basement and attic key? Although I guess that was eliminated on the ones with the dial. Jon |

Yes, my LX has a complete and working ejector. I took it home this past weekend and hooked it up to the Perfect Battery Power Nozzle. I have two shedding Border Collies, and it filled the bag in the LX. I have the dial set low, so it just gently popped open and at the last 1/3 of the motor run-down, the bag slid out. It's a fascinating marriage of all the parts (the slide to put the switch in the off position for example) when it pops open. Just lovely to watch.
