Well after being very very busy with work and cooling off from that last issue.....


Here some my vac pics all run like new the blue c9 is a donor to the C8 yellow wheels caster handle bags fitlers bumper all are now spare .
Working on cleaning out old borken parts of big bin i n basement and locating a ottoman form y lux zb89 .

It  would not stay on the connector from hose to machine so change it now solid as new. The hose on the zb 89 would pull off the coupling all the time so i got fed up of taping it putting it back together .

So i got adiffrent hose now i use the vacuum pull along hose is solid as a rock soo niice no leak too .

Is it worth it to  buy  the metal rug tool  of a compact electra   if i have the golden  plastic  floor tool converter  to use the floor tool o n rug  see one on  ebay good price  .

Thanks  yes my  Electorlux zb 89 got for  60  on facebook amrket place put a bag hose filter she runs good can't complain   .

But cough cough cough......... m y C8  needed her cloth bag  clean ouf .

So i vacuum it with the  monster shop vac 16 gallons  much cleaner and better new  paper bag and  vacuum the motor fitler too Runs smoother i find  . 

 

gota maintain them   old gal  keep em  rolling. But yes my Compact c8 is use alot  but  she good now .

Interesting that yours has cord hooks and no cordwinder.Was this Canada only version?In US this style always had cordwinder.

Im not sure but she works good so  i lvoe it  for my floor   does wonderfull  job  and my  carpet .

How  hard is it to change carbon brush o n motor  of comapct  c9   my  c8  hasa  rumble on run down    c9 motor was fine bfore carbon brush incident  take 2 make one kinda deal i still have new motor borken housing  for spare  id pratice that one  ty

Ok so i got brave and took carbon  brush of  new broken housing motor and put  em on the  old c9 motor   might check more tomorrow   . New carbon brush install any thing elsei  should check before put in  c8???

My god father was home to help us  move furniture to get rid of or sell  and old dryer  making prep for it. Then   he saw my old Electrolux ZB 89  green pick up the hose  check it out  look at pn  and wands . Im sure he was  like wow haven't seen that in a lonnnng time  ... He use to sell Compacts machine sure it brought memories    was nice  fora  minute  have him look it over ehhe.
