Through the help of a close collector buddy , I finally acquired the matching extra wide floor tool for my Olympia CB, and an extra matching Olympia CB hose for good measure 💕🙌💕

Wow

I’ve never seen those extra wide floor tools. It looks like it’s a nor,al o e with an extra wide rubber bumper. I’d be curious to see the opposing side with the bristle strips and where the screws are.

Post a photo of that if you could.

Fabulous machine though.

Do these have the cyclone inside?

Jon

Oh also….

Can you pick up water with the CB? I would imagine if so one would want to use all plastic or rubber attachments.

Hi Guys

@ Jo : You are correct - The extra wide floor tool and extra wide rug tool ( not shown) are variants of the standard floor tool, with an extra wide rubber bumper. I actually have a replacement brush strip. I will share pics very soon as requested. Im happy to know that I've shared something from my collection that you haven't seen or knew existed! The extra wide floor and rug tools were sold with the CBs and the first three series of the CB2000. Electrolux DCD production of them
during the run of the Prolux CB2000 series.

@ Alex : Thx for the props!!!

Nice looking CB and the floor tool looks good too.
I think most luxes look like station wagons but this looks like a late 60s European sports car. Thanks for sharing.

@ Jo: The CB can only be used for dry pick up. The CA , earlier CBs, and the model CW offered this option but I believe there were flaws in the wet pick up accessory kit which resulted in later productions of the CB being limited to dry pick up only .

Oh wow…

I’d really be interested in seeing the rug tool that sounds interesting…definitely this has been a treat to see something Electrolux I never knew existed. I love the brown hose too. Is that genuine?

@ Jon: I only have the rug tools or my CB2000 ( DJ Variant ) that are pictured in Thread 42384. The brown hoses I have for my CB are genuine . I’m glad to know that I’ve shared some items that you or others have not seen or knew existed ☺️💕
