I was given a Hoover cleaner the other day. A very expensive model in its day. With it, came a bag of attachments, belts, bags, etc. The bags are BOJAK. BUT....
it the bag, I found a famed Electrolux dusting brush with the two 'wings' that flip to make it a different tool. This thing is in perfect condition. (unusual).
The questions are: how rare is it? Does anyone need or want it? I won't throw it out.
I'll post a pic when I can.

Possibly

Thanks for offering! It depends on the shade of blue. The model L was made for a long time so I'm guessing yours is the right tool for that or the 1205, neither of which I have. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that while no version is rare, some are harder to find than others.

If it's the older, darker two-tone blue that came with the E and AE, I'm definitely interested.

They are pricey

Even on eBay and the ones in excellent condition sell as much as brand new ones. It’s one of my all time favorite tools along with the combination rug and floor tool. And, they are both so universal as they fit the 1 1/4” universal slip on wands. It’s no wonder both of these attachments still hold their value today.

Replacement Bristles are available too for both which makes them even better since they are so durable and user friendly.

When this dusting brush/upholstery tool was first introduced it was called the “contour tool” for several years. The concept being that those wings could be used in any position to cover the contour of a piece of furniture such as a 90 degree edge or the round bolster arms of wing chairs or sofas.

While the wing parts look as if they won’t do a great job , they actually do work well even on pet hair! They have air flow vents built in which seem to help.

I think it's only one shade of blue.

I'll look closer.
I'll post pics as soon as possible too. I've seen them before. This one is in perfect condition/ Of course, I have no need for it, but, I DO keep things like this for others. I have a whole container of stuff like this. There was even an 'odd' (possibly Eureka) upholstery brush in there too. That will go to a new home, too.

Being an Electrolux collector…

I’d be happy to have it!

Known as the 'FA' tool over here.

Very common here in the UK; I have about seven of these new and used.

One of the best combination upholstery/ dusting brushes ever made by a predominately suction cleaner manufacturer.

PS. JON, I am having a bag from Marty Kaplan for my restored 541.
