Hi Antoine, That motor that you selected is not the motor that is in your C-9, starting with the C-8 they used a hi performance motor. Your motor is repairable, have you ever taken a Compact apart? If you send me the motor I will repair it for you no charge. It might cost to much to ship the whole vacuum to me, you can if you want. | ||

Here's a simple way to remember one speed canister vacuum wiring.
There are two leads from motor. Two from cord. Two from switch. Two from power nozzle receptacle. Connect in this order: One cord to One motor and One receptacle One cord to one switch One motor to one receptacle to one switch In the end, there should be three wire nuts holding the eight leads in the above connections. was wried acording to this NEED ADVICE NOW HELP i spent 100$ here | ||

so donor c8 to fix c9 or take part of c9 to upgrade c8 vice versa but ill make her work she will be REBORN(with refund of bad dud motor in got c8 to fix c9 per say take 2 to make 1 )
