Interesting that the whole Oreck concept was actually born in West Germany. For years, I’ve been dreaming that Miele would come out with an improved Oreck clone to market as a companion to their suction-only canisters. Add Miele’s expertise in filtration and sound reduction to the design and I’m sure they could create an innovative lightweight deep carpet cleaning machine.
