Take it apart and post pics of the wiring you messed with.
I really don't want to be that guy, but it's a single load and a switch. Unless the motor's brush wires are coming into play, it's literally the simplest thing to wire. The black wire from the cord is Line, and it goes to the switch, the from the switch to the motor. The white wire from the cord is Neutral, it comes from the cord and goes straight to the motor. Is there more to it than that? Two speed motor? Bag filled pressure switch? If it doesn't pop the breaker when plugged in and turned on, my guess is you have some exposed wire touching something. Or you've messed with the motor's 'internal' wiring. |
