This looks like a Montgomery ward I seen recently m. I don't think montgomery ward rebranded hoover. Maybe metropolitan vac?

Regency

I have no idea what they’re talking about... but that’s just a Hoover Advantage Series.
It was sold exclusively at Vacuum Stores in the 1980s.

Here is the Advantage next to the Kmart counterpart.

I've seen a lot of people read vacuum store stickers on the vacuum and then think that's who made it. Maybe there's a shop called Regency that serviced it and that's what they read.
