I bought an adapter off ebay and sold it to Jeff for electro hygiene. It completed his electro hygiene 990. I soon bought a 990 with all the attachments. I'm attaching a post to the thread of my 990. The royal would be in blue. The adapter I paid a good sum for but sold to Jeff at a reasonable price. If Jeff who is the go to person and collector of electro hygiene vacuums didn't have the hose adapter plate that's saying something. I highly doubt you find one. It'd adapt an 880 baby blue hose.
I wish you luck in your journey and maybe you can find one. You never know anything could happen. CLICK HERE TO GO TO Lesinutah's LINK |

Dwayne and Thomas, here is a picture of the hose adapter you need for the 888 Royal, 980 Electro-Hygiene, and 990 Galaxy Prestige. They are extremely hard to find, but once you get the adapter, all you'll need is a regular set of attachments for a Royal 880 and you'll be good to go. The extra accessories (short handle, small bag, cord with inline switch, and sprayer) are also nice to have and would have been included with the 880 when it was new, but are not essential. Wishing you the best of luck in finding an adapter,
Jeff
