This beauty is all original, and stunning.

Completely rebuilt motor and Brushroll. Both sound absolutely fantastic.
The original bag with spreader bar is currently drying.... will post a follow up photo tomorrow.
This one just hums across the rug with minimal noise!

Gorgeous!

Thanks for posting your pics! So inspiring as I tear into my 725. Thanks for showing the original details, too! Amazing to see the original furniture guard (rubber bumper) and cord plug. Not to mention the original paint looks like it shined up nicely too!

Would love to see a pic of the bag when it's ready to show.

Thanks!

Amazing. My first coffee can hoover was a 575 in much much sadder original state...

Despite looking like this it ran nearly silent. Far quieter than any vacuum I've used to this date and that's a ton hah

I used it a whole heck of a lot

the before pics

look better than one i have. the motor on mine is frozen solid and the screws are so rusty they wont budge. in your before pics it looks like the wall plug is broken. in the after it looks brand new- was it just dirty before or did you fix it? and you even have the original box and hose! lucky find- now all you need is to make a new bag and it be perfect.

Very nice machine

I was given a motor about forty years ago by our local cleaner repair man. I only found out what the rest of the machine looked like about ten years ago.

My motor runs well.

Regards form the UK.

Jason...

The original post and the photos Brandon posted are not the same.
Same vacuum, though!

gave a motor by itself?

I wonder if there's still chance of a motor being out there somewhere for my Ohio?

It looks and sounds fantastic. I would love to find a hoover bag like that, is it original to that model? Very nice indeed.

Lovely, lovely

That bag and spreader assembly is perfect....very rare over here.

I nearly bid for a complete UK voltage 575 years ago; it was only 20/5 miles away.

Why didn't I....fool!!!

Enjoy, Walter, UK.
