That vacuum is in a town of only 400 people - I have never in my life heard of that place.

I'm amazed sitting in an antique store they only want $10 for it.

I am definitely going to start poking around small towns some more.

That vintage Eureka canister is very, very unique and rare. This is the first time I have seen a “Princess” like that in real life. I have seen advertisements for a similar version which was made by Eureka for the Mexican Koblenz company (called the Devoradora!!!!), but never a Eureka version.

The unique feature: a second rubber bumper around the top edge of the canister body! And two very large rear legs to store the unit on end. Also: an “inline” Tool Pak on top combined with an inline Princess handle. Most Princesses with that “turtle shape” did not have a top-side Tool Pak.

I have actually seen a pack of Princess bags featuring a photo of this unique model as well.

A very rare vacuum from Eureka! Would love to see a vintage spec sheet or advertisement for this model.

Such an impressive list of machines! Thank you for sharing this with all of us!

Oh by the way.
Forewarning for anyone who tries to buy the almost all original 505. The seller of that is kinda rude. They refused to sell me the 505 because I “took too long”. I was about to drive there when they said that. Just putting that out there.

The handle is painted, wheels are painted and the trim isn't right. It's not even close to original.

Is not a rebadged vacuette. It's very similar and a very nice vacuum.

The 505

kirbycollector's profile picture
The trim and grip are correct, as is the belt lifter and cord. The wheels now that you mention it may be replacements, and the bag is a 513 one.

Trim

lesinutah's profile picture
The handles has no contours on the grip I can see. It maybe black but I don't see the contours. The headlight trim looks like cut and painted tan trim. It looks like it has 5 ribs not 3. The wheels look like heritage or painted black wheels.
I'm attaching photos. If you seen in person you would know better but only rare correct parts are belt lifter and cord.
If I'm getting a 505 I want a 505 bag.

The way the trim is shaped (curved) is just like the original trim on my 4C, 505, and 508. Grip looks thick enough to be original. The picture quality is poor, so it’ll be harder to see all the details.

Kirby is stated as a ds80. It has a toggle switch which last appeared on a model 513.
