I have no clue what I have I never had a 50s Kirby. How much of it is original? Was it worth 101$ ? And what is the red thing on the emotr. |

The "thing" on the Emptor is to open and add "Sweet Aire" to the pad in the back of the Emptor. It was a fragrance/musk scent that would then be spread through the room(s) through the exhausted air. A lot like Kirby's "Odorific" in later years. Greg |

The red plug is a sweet Aire cap. If you look in the emptor is a metal trap/sleeve that hd a felt or similar type of material. Sweet Aire is where you would put scented drops into the Tor.
Your fan, entire nozzle, motor housing, emptor, handle and grip are original. The cord, bag,wheels aren't original. It cleans up nice. |
