This is my first post here in Vacuumland This is my Kirby 505 built in Nov. of 1947 at the end of the 505 run from 1945 through 1947. It's almost all original except for the handle grip, and the male plug end has been replaced. The bag is a ONS bag in near mint condition. I hope to find a original handle grip some day.

That is a fine example of an original 505! It looks phenomenal.

Great condition on it! I just got a 508 myself! I'm kind oif starting in the reverse, I've got most of the G-Series and other odds and ends from the 70's and 80s, working on the 1950's and earlier now.

It looks awesome. If you add the red washers on the wheels and painted the numbers on height adjustment it would be something I'd do.
Nice.

Lesinutah, Funny you should say that, I normally do paint the washers red, as on my 508, and I did paint the numbers red on the height adjuster, you just can't see it... thanks

VacTec2, New old stock NOS is the more common use, and I tried to edit it, but couldn't, I'm new here having said that old new stock is the same thing, hopefully most can figure that out until i can get it edited...thanks

A set of 4c-512 axles.
Nice job on the paint. Your 505, 508 and airway are show pieces. I have an all original 505 with a belt cap. I have 2 508's but only have one bag the other is on its way eventually from huskyvacs. I think mine look good but not to your level yet.
