You can buy a hoover model 450 from ebay and take the fan off of it.

Sure this is what you need. If I'm wrong I'm pretty sure I'll be told. I have a 913 and this looks like the fan I ordered.

I'd really like to get into metal casting. Things like this could be easily remade. Shame I just don't have the time.

You might try inquiring with some metal foundries. There are a couple that will make one-offs.

I'm sure glad I looked at the pics.
If you God another fan same diameter cut the shaft same diameter of yours. Add a washer to the front and the back it probably would work.
The hoover fan linked has more blades but the depth is probably the same on the blades.
Jb weld the shaft on.
Most the 4 5 6 blade fans were on motors in the 30's-50's.

It's not metal, there is white and clear on the link but it looks very similar to me.
