How do I get the glass part of a Sanitronic belt lifter to stay on? I have tried reattaching the clip on the back, it always slides off no matter how I try it. I had an earlier, easier style of clip somewhere but its gone now. Thanks!

The belt lifter and the front detachable plastic or glass cover. Iirc the bottom back side of the glass has a clip holding it in place similar to the carbon brush clips.
I hope that makes sense. The cover connects to main body and there is a clip holding it in place.
