Demonstration tools. The one on the bottom is for the constellation, which was sold door-to-door when it came out. The other one is for the convertible. It replaced the outer jacket, kind of like a Kirby demonstration tool. Thank You Hans Craig.

I never knew they made such demo tools for the hoovrahs! Are you going to try them out this weekend?

Oh yes Mike. I got out my blue Constellation and my pink model 65. We used both of those demo tools and the guys were amazed. That's what I love about convention time. People get to see and try vacuums and attachments they've never seen before. I might be a "redneck from Missouri" but we sure do know how to have a good time. In my museum full of 'trade-ins' - you know - like Stan Kann had. I should start a facebook page on Hoovrahing.

Oh you should! Redneck?! There’s absolutely nothing redneck about you! Your mattress burning neighbor though... that’s a different story! Hope you guys are enjoying your time at the convention!

Got to see these very rare items at the convention and boy are they cool! The museum is just spectacular!!!!! I saw machines in Tom's collection that I had never seen before! Everything is laid out beautifully and we had such a great time turning on any machine we wanted to and sharing a lot of great information with each other. Tom, thanks for pulling just a wonderful agenda together for all the attendees at this years convention!

Thankful!

The one for the Constellation

I always liked the look of those metal latches on the wands. It really gave the appearance of quality and craftsmanship in even the smallest of details.

A "Hoovrah" would be kind of like a Filthy Queen or a Kirbeast or an Awfulwrek. Similar to the Rainblow or the Lectrylux. Along the same lines as a Cumpacked or a Rice Car. But not quite a Simple Isn't He. It's just tongue in cheek.

I'm not sure how to do a youtube video - but I'm willing to learn. I will make a video of it in use, as well as the Constellation dirt meter. With about 500 vintage vacuums, I'm sure I could fill up a lot of time on youtube with videos of them.
