Hello all! It has been quite a bit.

No longer in omaha nebraska. I live with my partner in Las Vegas Nevada. Been here about a year now.

When I moved, I downsized everything and didn't bring anything except my bare essentials.

We live here now with a decently large car collection and I have a few musical instruments and projects going on (big one currently converting a conn 652 to a midi instrument)

I was contacted by a fellow collector who received notice that a Vegas local was moving and had to depart with all of their vacuum cleaners. I hadn't been in the collecting game for a while and said hey why not!

If only I had carpet haha.

So the machines are as follows...

Hoover 29

2 Hoover 63s and matching constellation

Hoover convertible 66

Electrolux model 30

Electrolux  model 60

Also got a wonderful sunbeam mixer and automatic toaster and some other goodies.

Lots of spare parts. 29 and 63 hoods. An entire 66 minus bag and handle. Hoses and attachments. Bags etc.

Just got them inside. All work well

Only thing I'll need is a motor for the model 60. It's missing. And constellation attachments

Going to really get them cleaned up some time

Not a bad collection.
You live in vegas. Here in Spanish fork 50 miles South of the salt lake, it was 104. Death Valley is not far from you it hit 130 the hottest on record anywhere for 90 days.
Las Vegas always gets good concerts.
What kind of car collection you have.
I dig the electronic 30.

I can't afford a collection of cars that nice. My father has a 1970 ford F100. His father my grandpa bought it new. I'll never own it as my brother wants it.
I would like the Subaru Wrx really edition. It's got loads of power and handles great.
I'm sure you still in a drought in a drought. Do you have a zero landscaped yard or fake gras?
I have family in Vegas and have been there multiple times.

I've got a small patch of grass in the front yard for part of it and the rest is all rock. Have to water 20 minutes a day 6 days a week to keep it green.

The cars may sound nice but most are hoopties haha. Lots were free or extremely cheap due to abandonment.

The Subaru is fun. We take it to the desert sometimes.

The f100 is a strong workhorse. We drove it from its former home in Salt Lake City to Vegas. 8mpg haha

It's certainly seen better days though. The slc rust got to it. Interior is like new and engine and drive train have been refreshed

Awesome catch

The red Hoover really pops in your photo. I'd hang on to that one for sure.Your Sunbeam Vista is a strong mixer, not as collectable as the older models but that's changing. All the collectors that I know also have one or two of these Vistas simply because they are more powerful and way easier to work on.

Subarus! Great photo. Lately I've found that more and more people who I follow and admire are also owner/enthusiasts of Subarus and now I'm all curious about them. Can you share what you like about the brand, I'm guessing good for off roading etc? Nice post, welcome back! Billy

Thanks! The hoover 29 really does pop.

I had to snag the mixer. The gentleman had many other non vacuum things he had to get rid of and told me to take what I wanted.

I didn't have a mixer and been talking about buying one but didn't want to splurge on a kitchenaid so this worked out fantastic

Also the sunbeam toaster.... Oh I've always dreamed of an automatic toaster. They are so fascinating. Will just need to install a grounded plug and it's good to go.

For Subarus. Have had a few. They are great basic cars. The wrx is a lot of fun. The turbo models aren't quite as robust as naturally aspirated. But they can take a beating. This one's got a good ammount of performance upgrades as well as suspension. It's lifted and bigger tires too for off roading fun.

It gets decent gas mileage when they aren't lifted and modified to heck haha. This one doesn't get driven much due to its extremly loud exhaust and rough tires

Here it is next to a professional race car at Sema auto show a few years ago

That ford is in good shape. My dad's is white upper body and root beer brown lower body. It's actually been stripped down and all the bodywork done. The engine has an Edelbrock 650 double pumper off my old dodge ram charger. His console is good the rest was tore out and has one big bench seat.
The wrx's would come with a twin turbo. The naturally aspirated are limited. The turbos, intercoolers, blow off valve, cold air intake make it more robust. The naturally aspirated ones get 24 pounds of air. The turbo cools it and cool air shrinks making more airflow. Air is the key ingredient in horsepower.
The car doesn't look much different than the race version.
I like the Subaru and Toyota venture is a car I'd like to get. The Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ. I love Toyota so it would be my choice.
The convertible looks like it's in mint condition.
