Just bought myself a new Vitamix Explorian E320 blender a couple of weeks ago. Actually, it's my second one. I had to sell my first one because of financial issues, and have missed it ever since. I've had a few other blenders since then, but none could hold a candle to the Vitamix. Does anyone else here use them too? If so, how do you like yours?

YES!,YES!-I have SEVERAL models-a small collection of them and next up Blendtech.LOVE them both!!!!Have the Ascent 3500 and a "Quiet One" commercial model.Have a Blendtech Stealth 800-their commercial "hood" blender for home use.The VM Quiet One would be another "hood" blender-has a cover that flips down over the jar to muffle the noise-no "Chain saw" in the kitchen roar with those two blenders. The Ascent is noisy-just leave the kitchen while its going.VM has brought back the SS jar-48 oz fits the Ascent and other 5000 series blenders. The SS jar-no worry of "fogging" the lower part of the jar when dry grinding or making peanut butter.Have two older 32 oz SS jars that fit 5000 machines except the Ascent. For the jar to work on the Ascent needs the sensor equipped containers.

I've had my Vita Mix for almost 20 years now. I use it constantly, as I love and use my kitchen appliances for every thing they can do for me.

I have friends who use them quite often. I'm glad you got another one. One, a while back, I thought about getting one, but never did. I'd probably love it, but, it's not high on my list at the moment.
I have a very well-equipped kitchen as it is.

I actually picked one up last year at an estate sale, it is a vintage ( I want to say 60's) 3 speed reversible commercial vita mix all stainless it doesn't seem to have had a lot of use and will liquefy just about any thing you put into it.

You are so right. They will liquefy 'almost' anything. Even the rocks thrown at glass houses.

Liquify anything put in a VM blender-several years ago called the VM factory about something or another and ordered the SS jars at that time from the factory. They mentioned a 3600 that was used in a morturary to grind the ash after cremation.Blades bent and dents in the jar.Machine still worked according to VM!Cremation ash can be like bricks according to cremation websites-See very high powered machines to grind the ash!

I've had mine since 1998, then we got a new one ( gifted that one to my mom) when I got married. I'd HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. Ive found them very powerful and reliable and the big reason I bought it ( after seeing it several Home Shows, was that I became convinced I'd consume more veggies than I would normally eat. Sure enough, I do....every day a green smoothie....with occasional Daiquiri's, salsa's, ice cream and soups made in the Vitamix.

I have one that had that class action lawsuit about the blades so they sent me a $70 coupon code. I used it to buy my mother a refurb one for Christmas last year, she uses it to grind flour.

My local Dairy Queen has a Vitamix behind the counter - branded as "Orange Julius by Vitamix."
