Since my 105 was missing the slide and ring I made a new one then took off the newer bag with the bag clamp and put a sateen one I made on. Still deciding if I like it this way. I've already made a different slide ring, the first one I made seemed a little heavy.

Nice job on fabrication of the slide ring. It looks original to the vacuum.
The vacuum sure puffs up the bag it looks pretty sweet. I'm not sure on how old the Hoover is but it has power to inflate the bag like that.

Wow! I literally have never seen that build in red! Is that rare?

I so need that bag

Wow. I just LOVE that bag. My 105 spews dust like a crop duster.

Re: Red paint comment. No, The 105 (circa 1921) has a rough cast aluminum housing and was painted silver by the factory. I have two 105's - with one having had green paint from somebodys attempt to make it look nicer. Without paint, it looks bad.

Cool pink vintage looking cord too!

Great job

.....you have made of the bag, not an easy tailoring project I imagine!

You have a very interesting collection of cleaners and very rare over here.

Walter.
