~ Old Boraxo soap dispenser at church. There are several of them and the custodian keeps them filled with Boraxo. The church was built in 1956 but those dispensers look older than that. I'd say early 1930s.

That is a neat find! Maybe the janitor could find you one tucked away that the church no longer uses. That would be a nice piece in any bathroom. I wouldn't mind having one of those "endless towels" (the rolling cloth towel that rolls back into a metal box that gets chemically treated). I remember seeing them all over in gas stations back in the '70's and '80's. Definitely NOT Covid safe.
