My friends gave me their old Sebo K1 1200W.. I bought new filters for it cause the old ones were really dirty..
I'm a little bit concerned cause they don't have any seals. The filter inside the bag compartment doesn't even click or anything it easily comes out. The filter at the top at least clicks in but it also doesn't have any filters.. Does it still filter good? I suffer from asthma so I'm a little bit worried. It's supposed to have some kind of hospital grade filtration..
Our old Miele S6 had a seal around the exhaust filter. The bags were also much thicker.. It was expensive to buy filters and bags though so went it broke we decided to go with another brand.. The tool clip was also annoying.
My sister in law has a E1 and I was just wondering if E1 would be a better option for us cause it actually have a seal around post motor filter. Unfortunately the bags aren't as good as on Miele, it gets dusty in the compartment. Will it be the same with K1. It is nicely clean, unless my friends cleaned the compartment. The brushes on upholstery tool also get very dirty and it's hard to clean it while K1 comes with similar to Miele kind of tool with that strip..
