 ~ Well, I'm just tickled pink! Ever since I found an Electrolux Model 1453 Special with a cord winder seven or eight years ago, I wanted a halo and wrap-around cord instead. I've just always preferred the economy models that way.
I finally ran into a fellow collector who wanted a cord winder for his 1453, so we swapped -- he sent me the cord and halo, and I sent him the cord winder. And here it is!
The original hose is in perfect condition, excellent seal. However, it's too heavy and not very flexible which is a problem since the vacuum cleaner is so lightweight. So I made up an ivory-colored coiled hose that looks great and is much easier to use.
