Where I work, the cleaner uses a Rainbow SE vacuum cleaner to clean the office. It has with the power nozzle for the carpets and the floor brush for hard floors. I've never seen a Rainbow used in commercial setting before.

There is also a Shark Navigator that was usually used by the previous cleaner. The white and red one. Before that was the silver and purple one but I think it quit working so they replaced it. But we still use the Shark sometimes for cleaning around the computers and such areas where dusts collects. I use it in my area sometimes to clean under the desk and the corners, and the attachments to clean keyboard, desk areas, etc.

The first rainbow I acquired was used at a business. It was a hole e2 type 12 gold rainbow. He was selling it because his high school help used it to pick up shredded paper. He left it for 2 weeks. The water basin was horrible. I filled and emptied the water and then filled and left it 24 hours. I let it sit 24 hours and dumped it twice. It took slot of time to get it clean.
I'd suggest not letting anyone use a rainbow in a commercial setting. Most people are very stupid.
They are beasts when used correctly. The key word correctly.

In this case the cleaner is the only one who uses it. Nobody else does, if we need a vacuum we just use the Shark.

Yes, I can’t tell you how many of those upright carpet cleaners that use water or soap to wash the rugs I’ve pulled off the trash and they stink horribly. People are so lazy...they use it to pick up a wet mess, dog or cat pee, then shove it in the garage failing to empty the collection bin because they either don’t know better or are downright lazy...then they complain the next time they go to use it that it smells sour and blame it on the machine. These and rainbows can be cleaned...wash and soak all the parts with bleach and odoban for a few days, then rinse thoroughly and set in full sun for an entire day to thoroughly dry and deodorize.

Obviously the cleaning person knows what they are doing with the rainbow and likely the Shark is there to avoid problems with people using the rainbow incorrectly.

All bets are off: Rainbow used commercially...

This is wishful thinking at its absolute worst! We should all just STOP PRETENDING that the rest of the world thinks vacuums are as important as we think they are. There’s no reason why any of us should set ourselves up for disappointment. I’m not a glutton for punishment. ARE YOU?????
